What I do with your information.
Short version: I collect what I need to get you a policy, I don’t sell it, and this website itself doesn’t gather anything about you.
This website
These pages are static. There is no form on this site, no account to create, and no advertising or tracking pixels. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, because there is nowhere on the site to type. The web host keeps ordinary server logs — the kind every web server keeps, including IP address, time of request and browser type — for security and operations.
The links on this site open your own phone, messaging or email app. Using one of them starts a conversation directly with me; it does not route through a third-party lead service.
When you contact me
If you call, text or email, I keep what you tell me: your name, contact details, and the facts relevant to insurance — age, state, household situation, existing coverage, and health history. I use it to quote and place coverage, and to follow up with you about it.
If you decide to apply, that information goes to the insurance company you are applying to, and to the parties that carrier uses to underwrite the application, such as its underwriting department, prescription and medical-record services, and any examiner. Each of those companies has its own privacy notice, and the carrier will provide theirs as part of the application.
What I do not do
- I do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
- I do not sell your details to lead buyers or marketing lists.
- I do not share your health information other than with the carrier you are applying to.
Calls and texts
Contacting me at (726) 999-0727 means I may reply by phone or text at that number about your enquiry. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, or just tell me and I’ll stop.
Keeping it and getting rid of it
Records connected to an insurance application are kept as long as state insurance law and the carrier require. If you contacted me and did not go ahead, you can ask me to delete what I have and I will. Email david@riosinsurance.com or call (726) 999-0727.
