I’m David Rios, and I sell one thing.

I’m based in Cibolo, Texas, just outside San Antonio, and I work with families across Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, Ohio and Vermont. The name on my license is Roberto David Rios — everyone calls me David.

The reason I do this is not complicated. Most people who need life insurance know they need it and put it off, usually because the last time someone brought it up it felt like a pitch. Then something happens, and a family that is already in the worst week of its life has to work out how to pay for a funeral. That gap between “I’ll get to it” and “too late” is the whole job.

I’m an independent agent, contracted with a wide range of insurance companies rather than employed by one of them, and I keep adding to that bench. That matters more than it sounds. A captive agent has one shelf to sell from, so the recommendation is decided before the conversation starts. I can take your health history to the company that treats it best, and if the first one comes back with a rating I don’t like, I take it somewhere else.

I don’t put a list of carrier names on this website, and that’s deliberate. Which company is right for you falls out of your own specifics — your age, your health, the amount you need, how quickly you need it — and a row of logos would tell you nothing about any of that. What you should care about is that I have enough companies in position to have a real choice when your file lands. On the call I’ll tell you exactly who I’m recommending and why it’s them.

I’m a husband and a dad, so I’ve had the version of this conversation where you sit down and work out what would actually happen to your household. I’d rather you have that conversation with me for fifteen minutes than never have it at all.
